DreamWorks to Bring Latest Projects ‘Trolls Band Together,’ ‘Ruby Gillman’ to Annecy Film Festival

DreamWorks Animation will showcase an Exclusive Look, Work in Progress Presentation, Screening, and more about their latest projects, “Trolls Band Together,” “Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken,” as well as a first look at an unannounced film from the studio at the 2023 Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

We look forward to connecting with other industry leaders, and for the opportunity to engage with audiences through the power of storytelling.”

On June 13, at 4PM, DreamWorks Animation will present a Studio Focus session on two upcoming film projects. Director Kirk DeMicco will lead a discussion on the visual design and making of Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken. The presentation will also offer attendees an exclusive first look at an unannounced film from the studio. Teenage Kraken debuts in theaters, June 30.

On June 15, DreamWorks Animation will present the World Premiere of Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken at 8:30PM (debuting in theaters June 30). The screening event will include a special introduction by DeMicco, producer Kelly Cooney Cilella and co-director Faryn Pearl.

A Trolls Band Together panel will be held on June 15, featuring director Walt Dohrn, producer Gina Shary and co-director Tim Heitz. The feature will also showcase glimpses of the animation progress along with all-new original songs.

Then, at 10PM on June 15, DreamWorks Animation will showcase a special outdoor screening of the Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

The Annecy International Animation Film Festival will be held in Annecy, France, this year from June 11 to June 17.
